just put your master cylinder on the bars first, then put the perch for the clutch inside of it and have the clutch lever above the handbrake lever. then it depends on the size of your hands and what feels most comfortable. you will most likely have to readjust it after you set it up and ride it for a minute and fine tune a couple times before you get it exactly where you want it. i dont have any good pics at the moment but on mine there is about an inch of clearance below the clutch lever before the hb lever. and the perch is also about an inch inside of the master.... but again, it all depends on your hands and what feels comfortable. thats the basic stragety.... good luck

changing the adjuster nut on the easy pull helps some times too , that big star adjuster can get in the way ..

alot of people throw away the nut and cut the thread on the end of the adjuster so it can go all the way in then they make the cable adjustment at the motor ..

Re: best lever set up for 3rd brake, n clutch

biggest trick is being able to get the most leverage on the handbrake, here is a few setups. I made this quick video to show the difference between a few things. I recent changed the way I have my F4i that is the last bike shown with the blue tank.
