Re: turning idle wheeiles

do you have idle on lock ? i ask because if not you should get that first and then learning to steer will be alot easier and by ''on lock'' i mean no throttle needed to roll a nice smooth steady wheelie

Re: turning idle wheeiles

yea i can pretty much do steady idle wheelies as long as im going straight. sometimes i do need to blip the gas from to much braking though. when im doing faster wheelies i can turn just by shifting my weight. but when i try that while rolling slow i find its really awkward. maybee i just need more seat time. il try and get a vid in a couple of says to show ya what i mean

some times you can just drop back a little and twist the bike other methods are just like you said adjusting your wieght and leaning ..if you can go straight then you are already actually steering the bike cause when you are going slow the bike doesnt usually stay straight unless you are making corrections

Re: turning idle wheeiles

bring the bike back past bp and hit the brake and as you hit the brake lean and turn it just a little than as it starts leaning let off the brake and let the engine rpm catch up and carry you just keep checking up as you go around. and more air pressure. it also depends on how your standing on the bike. tdifferent ways feel better to different peole i like foot in the trunk and one foot up but try and see wht stance works for you just my two cents works for me

Re: turning idle wheeiles

are you in staggard????? foot in /on seat gives you a lot more leverage........ turn ur bars a little in the direction u wanna turn and shift ur torso to that side.....some guys will tell u to counter steer to get a turn but then u can highside ur ur not good at em or it will throw u in a circle
