Need some wheelie advice please
I have been trying to do some first gear power wheelies on my stock 03 636. I will get the bike up to 6,000 rpms the close the throttle the roll it back hard. But ever time the front does not seem to come up. The only thing that happens is the front end shakes. I almost got into a tank slap today. I have read the wheelie sticky. I was thinking about clutching it but i worried the front well still wobble. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

ride it to 10k or higher, close it completly, then crack it open. Make sure ur sittin all the way back, and hug your tank with your thighs(stompgrip ftw)...should come up with no problem..if not..

STOP doing powpow powerwheelies....... turn your idle up.....pull in the clutch.....rev it up a lil bit, let the clutch back out........
repeat 100000 times and you'll get it

I read the how to after trying to power it up. Now that i read it I will be trying that way from now on. The only thing I am worried about is how the front would wobblie. The tires are new mabey 100 miles on them. And I dont have any wobblies at speed. Only when I was trying to power it up. And the near tank slaper scared tha **** out of me. Any ideas on what the hell thats all about?

Not being a dick head, but, your advice is poop. Bad advice can get someone with little experience killed.
Re: Need some wheelie advice please
look i dnt look at the rpms on the power wheelies but wen i 1st started off thats all i did was power i was scared to clutch it up i grew a lil bit bigger ***** and clutched it up in first gear it jumps up quick but you have a better chance to ride the wheelie longer but if your going passed 30 the do 2nd gear. jus sit back and grow a pair

GREEN BROOK, NJ — A South Plainfield motorcyclist has been charged with eluding police after he led a police officer on a chase on Route 22 that ended in a crash at the Washington Avenue intersection.

Ra** Ka****, 19, was arrested Monday after he walked into the emergency room of JFK Medical Center in Edison seeking treatment of bruises and road burns, according to an affidavit filed in Superior Court.
North Plainfield Police Officer Ja*** Ga****** was on routine patrol at Route 22 and North Drive at about 11:29 p.m. Monday when he saw a motorcycle traveling westward on the highway at a high speed, 66 mph in a 50 mph zone. The driver was also performing wheelies, the affidavit said.
The officer tried to stop the cyclist but stopped the pursuit when it went into Green Brook. Shortly after that, Green Brook responding to a report of a motorcycle accident at Washington Avenue and Route 22 found a motorcycle in the middle of the intersection, the affidavit said.
A witness told police the cyclist had run from the scene and had gotten into a vehicle that then left the area, according to the affidavit.
A police officer found documents belonging to Ka**** at the scene of the accident. The officer also took swabs of blood from broken glass at the intersection, the affidavit said.
Police then broadcast an alert for Ka**** and also notified area hospitals. When he walked into JFK Medical Center and identified himself as Ka****, police were notified, the affidavit said.
