Re: Help with my Circles with Vid.
hey,
I don't know how to do circles on a motorcycle yet, but since no one has commented yet ill give you my thoughts. Right now you are steering the bike instead of circling because you are leaning your body and not the bike. To get the bike to circle/spin (this is the case for flatland bmx) your body will be close to upright, but your bike is leaning over and you use gyroscopic force to keep it from falling. So from what im to understand, you need to try to get the bike to fall over and then mess with your speed and momentum to get it to spin.

Re: Help with my Circles with Vid.
i cant do circles yet but i believe it is easier to turn to the left when you have your foot on the seat. makes you be able to stay up right easier while you dip the nose in for the circle. i would advise you to either try turning left or try both feet on seat while turning right if you have a hand brake
Re: Help with my Circles with Vid.
two replies from people who start with " I cant do circles yet but.."
All the good how-to on stuntlife is from 2004, before this site got tracked out.

i cant ride to the left... i have a 3 1/2 in plate 6 pins and a screw i can keep the weight their for to long but standing on the seat doesnt seem to hurt but if you watch CBO he doesnt do their how they should be done and thats what im going by. but thanks for the help
Re: Help with my Circles with Vid.
The flatland BMX guy is absolutely correct. Right now.....you are doing recons, steering the bike through a large circle. In order to do true circles, you'll need to let the bike DIP at an angle, and then be ready to blip the throttle to keep your front end tall and bring it around. It's going to be a little harder learning to the right in that position. When you get a HB, definetly try seat standers to the left. Good luck!
Re: Help with my Circles with Vid.
Ha ha.....well, if a HB is still pretty far down the road......no big deal. You'll get 'em.
Check this guy out. He dedicated himself to learning stagered O's to the right as his first form of circle. He learned 'em in one summer, too.
