Re: Pictures of cages

Ok, maybe no-one has any pictures, but can somebody tell me, is there some kind of rubber or something else between the frame and cage. And still, i really would like some pointers on the rear mounting point. How cage is mounted to frame?

Re: Pictures of cages

I think the way they mount in the rear is through the swingarm mount. Go on websites, no one is gonna do your dirty work for you.

Good luck with the build

I see that. I have searching all pages i know, got much info. All good. I just have to try all good ideas out. If it suck, then needs to rebuilt. I dont know how to attach it to the rear suspension, so I will just make exact same mount as a swingarm has. Idea is the same.

Re: Pictures of cages

Thank OMR for support. I would like to see pictures of rear mounting points. How cage is mounted to frame. I've seen all pictures of cages what i need, to make one. But cant figure out how to attach it to the rear suspension holder.

Does it make any sense?

Re: Pictures of cages

I would be really thankful if you could explain how cage is built, so that the rear end of cage is mounted to the rear suspension frame. Is there like big pipe and at the end there is welded some plate with smaller hole, where you cant bolt it on? Or something?

Re: Pictures of cages

there are a few different ways to do it , one way is to use a long bolt or allthread that goes through the swing arm bolt and yes you can use a piece of tubing or just a plate with a hole and then weld the tubing to the plate ..

Re: Pictures of cages

Thank you so much.
now i know how it's done. I will weld a plate at the end of a tube and then ill buy allthread and bolt the cage on this. I found some extra super strong and bending rubberplate yes, a plate and am cutting some seals from that to ease some hits.

Again thank you Old Man Roger

Re: Pictures of cages

some times it's better to mount the cage solid instead of using rubber but thats personal preference ..

That makes sense, because ive never seen someone putting this **** somewere. Even sliders are mounted strait to frame.
