Slow Wheelie problem

So I can wheelie pretty well going about 25 MPH and my back tire has great grip. but when I get down to about 5mph and try to bring it up it just burns I dropped my tire presser way down to about 15psi and the only sprocket change I have done is -2 in the front. I have Pilot powers tires half the way through their life, and my suspension is 50/50, and my body position is standing with my left leg on passenger peg. So what am I doing wrong . Is it the sprocket, or am I not giving it enough bounce? What’s up got anything that can help?

Thanks alot.

PS i got a GSXR 750 07 if that makes a dif.

Maybe try slipping the clutch smoother rather than popping it. Gas it as your slippin it, not roll rev dump.

Ha ha........NO, that's not what I'm sayin. When you see a quote w/ +1 under it, that means I agree with what was said, and I also recomend the same.

Re: Slow Wheelie problem

Cool so I got some nice days to get it down, sweet it worked . I’m letting it out a lot slower and bam that was it. I can put it up to 12 now just got to get some more ***** to ride it out, getting scared of scraping my tail. I don’t have a 12 bar. And I have to work on my throttle control I got the swirly’s some times. Does anybody know of any 12 bar that is street legal aka won’t cover my blinker or brake light. I still like to take my bike to work.

Thanks a lot for everybody help . If you’re in VA hit me up rutleyj@yahoo.com

Any time I might have to get a new rear tire . I took my bike to work and when I went out to go for lunch it was flat. I put some air in it and road it home. its holding for now. I’m going to put some of that green fix a flat stuff in it. yeah I’m a squid to I feel I wont be able to lose that title until i can do circles. as soon as there is a nice day on the weekend hit me up. rutleyj@yahoo.co and anybody els.
