i run an 06 600 gsxr and just ordered a 45 tooth rear and gonna stick a 15 on the front. that will give me -1 +2 and heard that will give me a lot of low end but still be ride able.

not sure how long you've been riding sportbikes, or that 08 gsxr 600, but if you're still new to stunting, which I assume you are for asking this question, then most people will tell you to learn balance point wheelies on stock gearing first, and then move up in sprocket size. But if you just want a little more lowend power, then I suggest going down one or 2 in the front only... its cheaper and won't require a new chain, however if the chain is old or has more than 2500 miles on it. then it would be smart to get a new chain with the sprockets, otherwise it will wear out super fast.

stock gearing is always best for finding the bp for a squid in my opinion. keep the gears stock and practice, practice, practice and then switch it up a little bit after getting the feeling of it. GOOD LUCK!

Three down on the front is what I got on my 06 750. It's about 20% gear reduction. Commuting on the freeway is not too fun, tach sits at 7500 @ 80MPH.

The -1, +2 is one of our popular street kits if you dont want to sacrifice much top end.

Re: sprocket size for 08 gixxer 600

I put a -1,+2 set up on my 08 gsxr 600....it woke up the low end....Made it fun launching from street lights against my buddy with his stock geared 600. The bike got even more fun when i streetfightered it out and shed that 40 lbs or whatever it was off the front end....so easy to get it up straight to bp...I miss that bike
