How did it turn out? Or does anyone have any suggestions for the anodized red color without powder coating the wheels.

 

I used the Duplicolor Metalcast Anodized Blue on a few of my engine cases, and my rotors. It looks awesome, just make sure that you lay down a reflective base color, like a metallic silver or chrome base. The color looks best over chrome, so if you can find rattle can chrome use it!!

 

+1, that stuff is nice if you use it right... careful to lay the paint down even and to not run it! do a few test pieces to make sure you got it right

sweet thanks for the input!! As far as the wheels go would you lat down a metallic chrome and than the anodized or just spray the anodized from the start??

 

I used the same paint on my wheels and used a silver base coat and just scuffed the original black as the primer..hope this helps
