Re: MOD vortex gas cap to prevent leaking?
dude, there IS a small allen head screw IN the base of the cap, remove that small screw and your cap will breathe

It really doesn't matter if there's a vent hole or not. The caps I've had w/ vent holes, I've had to JB weld the hole shut to PREVENT leaking. If your cap is leaking w/ NO vent hole, then the rubber seal isn't sealing/seating correctly. This happened to a friend of mine last weekend, and the problem was that the base wasn't mounted in the correct orientation. We unbolted it....realized it needed to be spun 90 degrees, and bam....perfect seal. The fill holes are'nt centered on some models and you gotta check em' out pretty close to determine the correct mounting position.
