Subcage - solid or folding pegs?

Heyup all...

Fitted a sick subcage but there seems to be alot of debates on running solid or folding pegs?

Whats the advantages or disadvantages?

Was gonna run with fixed pegs to help protect the rear of the bike more but some peeps say that your rear subframe will still smash if set down hard...

Whats best, cheers all.

Depends on preference. Some like folding ... I like the big billet pegs with the gnarled grip ....

esd pegs on an omr subcage cant beat it. they wont fold up stepping in and out of combos but will when u drop ur bike lessening the blow that will twist your subframe

Re: Subcage - solid or folding pegs?

i like folding because they give when i smash my bike on the ground,if i wasnt afraid of tweeking my sub mounts i would try solid mainly because im retarded and forget to fold my pegs down before stepping to RL's or other peg tricks, it doesnt end to good.

subcages with solid pegs souldnt be called "sub-cages" they should be called "sub-destroyers"

My pegs on my 05' barely touch the ground. Gonna cut a 1/4 inch off of em so they wont touch at all.

Re: Subcage - solid or folding pegs?

iv dropped my 636 and my f4i more times than i can remember from 12 onto my sick inn solid subcage and my subframes held up fine.

only thing it did is stopped my tygershark cage rolling up onto the tail and busting it to pieces!
