Re: 2nd gear wheelies

on the RR clutchin 2nd was just like 1st just rev higher

then when i tried it onda f4i it didnt come up(only try like twice).. i just never tried again cause i stick to first gear

but i would like to try again when i believe its time to get ready for the streets

i figure the f4i just aint have as much power and clutch was more worn..
but i believe 100% that it can be done..

Re: 2nd gear wheelies

lol wtf guys give him a lil help. Ima noob at pulling wheelies but you can do them in second gear just fine. what you need to do is pop the clutch. so put your bike in second gear pull the clutch in, rev the engine, then let go of the clutch quick and hit the gas. If it doesnt come up you didnt hit the gas hard enough so try again. best of luck. i also wouldnt suggest doing wheelies in first

You didn't mention cover the back break, that's what's gonna save your *** from going over when you give it too much gas. Yes I said when you give it too much gas not if. Second gear wheelies are easy, it's slowing them down in first is whats hard. If you can do first gear wheelies then you can do second and third gear wheelies. 60 MPH's you playing with death if you don't know what you're doing.

People on here give newbies a lot of **** cause no matter what the get told they go and do the opposite anyway. And they always want to go and learn street wheelies or high way wheelies and they go and crash up on the high way. It's all the same every time.

Re: 2nd gear wheelies

No ones gonna help someone who says " I just started doing wheelies and I got them in first gear "

Stay in first till you have rear brake down. 2nd doesnt have as much engine brake to bring you back down like first does.
And stay the F(&^ off the highway while learning

Re: 2nd gear wheelies

Them dudes you roll with are probably on R1's with all the power to do a acceleration wheelie not to mention the engine break to slow them down. Yeah they look cool rippin long wheelies down the highway but they don't look cool having no control and no foot on the rear break. Clutching up and riding balance point is the way to go. :YEAH
