any stablizer is better than none, I noticed that if your wieght isn,t as much on the bars as possible that can happen, also your not high enough, you should be able to roll double that distance, just keep your arms locked, and move your body around on the bike to keep it strait, a month ago I was rolling about 60 consistantly, now I'm 200 to 250 consistantly, it's easy once you accually take the time and think about what is going wrong, and getting tips from other riders.

Re: Rolling Stoppies.

Only take my advice if you know there is no problem with your bike... I had the same problem only doing emergency stops. I was lucky someone PROFFESIONAL explained me what to do... I dont know about stoppies, i just got my liscence... Here in belgium we have to follow at least six hours of 'education'. Meaning someone from a liscenced school with the proper education is following you and giving you pointers by radio...Anyway... I was on a kawa rx6 with a cage and away from publick roads, so fear was not an issue.. (it was not even my bike and it was insured)While i was doing my first two stops i started just fine...Hit the rear brake followed by the frontbrake as soon as the bike is diving then releasing the rear break, just before the rear wheel locks(or after, but do let go !!) . Continue squeezing front break... keeping the weight on the front... Then when the bike slowed to almost a stop, it started wobbling.I guess this is what you are talking about... In my case it occured by looking at my frontwheel. I was explained to keep my arms straight (as i allready was doing) but also to keep my sight front as far away as possible. Doing so automaticaly puts your body straight and so stabilizes the bike...I tried it a couple off times and i was just fine even did a stoppie on the fift try.. then the guy called it quits... being their bike not mine... again i'm still learning so get more opinions on stoppies. This concerns only the wobbly wob lol.

Re: Rolling Stoppies.

Get a Dampener!!
Set up your forks and get a good front tire.
You want your forks to compress but not decompress very much thats were you will get the po go and thats not good..
Back in the day i was rolling 60 70 ft tops and rode with NME in Atlanta for a few hours he set up my forks and gave me a few pointers and i was rolling 200 to 250 +

Keep you *** in the seat.
Use your head to see the horizon and judge how high your bike is
concentrate on one thing and try to roll to it.
Take your time!
