highchair/spreader help?

trying to get highchairs and spreaders down. but i cant do 1 finger on the clutch and 1 on the brake. i can for for everything else but these. it seems to really pull the bar out of my left hand. even tried to clutch then switch to the brake but that didnt work. can ride them out but cant get anything close to idle cause i dont have anything on the handbrake.

are my levers not set up right or is it something that will just come......

post a pic of your levers

I have some pretty scrawny arms and have no problems with 1 finger on each lever

these were when i was hooking it up last year. i did cut the brake about 1.5 inches shorter but thats it...

i can 1 and 1 for seat standers n stuff easy. just seems with speaders n highchairs that hand doesnt hold on as good?

Re: highchair/spreader help?

Just gotta keep practicing

I still can't rock idle spreaders, then again I don't practice them much..

But I have no problem doing idle SS's

Gotta work on your arm/hand strength, so you can hang on with only your ring and pinky fingers

+1.....and unless you're going for stalls or attempting O's, pull your pointer finger off the clutch and use it to hold on. Then, after you clutch it up.....try to put it back on the clutch if you are going to try a stall or an O.
