Honda DB bar clutch question

I have a 929 with DB bars. My stock clutch cable was too short to make the reach. I found a longer cable for free, but it's waaaaayyy too long.

Will any other honda clutch cable make the reach without being too long? Maybe a 919 cable??? Im lost.....

Thanks!

Didn't get help in general, maybe here???

Contact Motion Pro they will make you one in any length you need. They would probably make one 20ft long if that were what you need. LOL!, just kidding, they will hook you up

Re: Honda DB bar clutch question

I took my cable to Steels Motorcycle Parts here in Denver, and they made a cable for me by the next day, exactly the length I needed for 25 bucks. Only original part was the lower bracket... rest was brand new.

Maybe check used parts shops by your place? Or possibly mail yours off to Steels and have them do it for you the exact length?

I have no idea if other cables will fit right.
