I gots clip ons on my 600rr but tank tricks are a bitch! it's hard to reach the clutch and handbrake because u have to have them under the triple and the tank seems to sit high. would dirt bars be a better way to go, or convertabar, does anybody have them???????

 

I'm not totally sure but I believe that the tank is plastic with a tank cover over it. I have an 07 an in order to do tank tricks you have to use skateboard grip tape on the tank and dirt bars. The bike was designed for racing and nothing else. Hence the plastic tank to make it lighter and less flammable in case of a wreck. And thus why most use the f4i over the RR for stunting... not to mention that the RR has a way more sensitive throttle and is mucho touchy.

 

man F* that, i runt dirt bars and i dented my tank, yes it is a plastic cover u just take it off dent you tank heat it up, shape it and ur done, but dirt bars changed my would for the RR, i had your same problem when i had my stock clip-ons flipped, i deff. recommend db bars.:YEAH

 

KJ has Convertibars, and loves 'em......hit him up. They also look WAY better than DB, IMO.

i have my tank dented sweet, but i would have to be a ethiopien to fit in the dent. And i seem to hunch over so much spreders look like danglers. I have a difficult time grabbing the clutch and the brake, my f4i i had no problems.
