Re: seat stands

I don't see the question here. Put your feet in the seat, clutch it up, don't flip.

I started helping a fellow rider this past weekend, my word of advice ease into them... work your way up.

what not to do: clutch as you would a normal clutch wheelie for this reason more wheight over the back wheel 10x easier to flip it trust me i witnessed it last weekend

when i first started doing them i started out small i was just trying to get used to how it felt, then you combine that with your wheelie knowledge and let her ripwill come to you trust me, dont get frustrated.

be careful ahve fun and always remebr to laugh about it after

Re: seat stands

I used to do SS by having my heels almost together...but later ended up trying them with the ***** of my feet and just having my feet in a normal straight stance. At least for me standing like that helped make straightening out my legs easier.

Don't need HB. I learned without. Clutched them up higher and higher until I could clutch them up and set it on the bar. After that I could rock BP all day without a handbrake.

i already have a hb.....when i set this bike up i figured even though i didn't need to with my skill i was gonna set it up completely and correctly...figured i'd learn with all of it so i didn't have to adjust as i went along so i already got cage, bar, hb, clip ons etc.

Take the lever off until you learn.

what's the point....i can't slow em down without brake....then i would have to relearn using the brake when i put it back on....i mean i see your rationale i guess but i since i'm already used to using brake i think it would just be a longer learning curve trying to learn them without a brake

right?
