Re: f4i with db bars question

stock brake lines, stock throttle lines, stock clutch cable, and of course stock wires :YEAH

on mine and my friends f4i, no problems with reach. Just reroute what you need to

Re: f4i with db bars question

Just get one long and one short. Measure and order.

Re: f4i with db bars question

if your getting new lines, then definitely go longer, because its a tight pull with db bars..

but if your wanting to save cash, stock is fine..

but definitely get longer if your spending the doe!

Re: f4i with db bars question

I recently switched to dirt bars and was running the stock length lines...althought aftermarket steel braided...for a bit. I did notice that there was some tension on the lines which I wasn't very concerned about until the other day when I had to break down the front end. I found that there were a couple of spots on the lines where there was obvious signs of friction and excessive wear. Being that I didn't feel like dealing with nice little holes, I replaced them with some longer lines that solved that problem all together.

I got my lines from HAI with a length that they suggested, so I can't really remember what length they are, but they are considerably longer lines.

Just what I did...and worked for me...

Re: f4i with db bars question

I just installed the LSL/Spiegler bar kit on my 01 r6 and it came with (2 ) Spiegler plus 6inch brake lines in the kit. and a plus 6 inch clutch cable. I wish it had came with longer throttle cables but all in all a nice kit. If you are luck you can find a deal on them from HAI or someone else.
