putting an 06 r6 front end on my 04 r6

will it work fine? will the geometry of it all work out? jsut wonderin cuz they are pretty much totally different bikes
has anyone done this??

don't have aim...... i don't really trust the opinions of the more "racer" ppl on the r6-forum.....i think its gonna work

it will... ask johnnyp.

he has a R1 front end on his R6... whole different frame from a R1, and it fit. so i can almost guarantee it.

yea i think it'll work man
ppl put 929 front ends on f4is liek crazy, and those bikes aren't the same, so i can't see why this wouldn't work

i know if you have the 04 the 05 is a sick front end cause the forks are inverted

in order to do it you'd have to swap out everything, upper and lower triples, forks, brakes, rotors, axle, front wheel, etc. pretty much everything but i'm sure it can be done, the 05r6 front end is awesome i had one for a while, its now my girls
