Cant get it up in 3rd- 05 gsxr600
Anyone able to get it up in 3rd gear on a 6?
Ive tried bouncing (too much coordination) and I went -1 in the front for a while but that didnt work so I changed back to stock cause it killed my gas milage ( 3 hour round interstate trip to school) Any help would be great... 2nd's a piece of cake but dont want to kill my tranny with the upshift to third.

Its not the power comander and for god sakes the bike has no power band. Just keep practicing and take it slow. Baby steps

k since no one else will help ya i'll break it down (not that you should be doing 3rd gear wheelies anyway caus ur askin for trouble) but slow down to about 60... stand staggered, and preload the forks and as you are compressing slip the clutch and push down and back with your feet(primarily your left foot since its on the rear peg) sounds dumb but its all about how you shift your weight... the same goes for clutchin up slow stuff on a wet street. seriously though... unless you plan on killin urself... slow it down some!!!
