selecting chain size
My girl is buyin me a new set of chain and sprockets for christmas but I'm unsure how many link chain i need.. just stickin to a mild 15/50 so i ahve tons for the street.. would 120 link be enough or should I just tell her to pick me up 130 and i'll cut it to size?
Re: selecting chain size
I'm close to needing a new chain/sprockets as well and I'm 90% sure that the 120 link will work, i think i read somewhere that 120 will due for most bikes for up to +5:+6. I may be wrong so I'm looking forward to an answer as well
Re: selecting chain size
According to Haibikeshop:
http://www.haibikeshop.com/store/ind...roducts_id=470
120 link chain will generally cover stock to +5 rear sprockets. 130 link chain will generally cover up to +20 rear sprockets. Please specify chain below.
So hoprefully that helps you out
