How to end a wheelie dryspell???

I have done about 5 wheelies since i began riding back this April.. all were 1st gear. And all were in the first week I began riding.

Why you ask so soon wheelying after I began riding? Cause I was with friends who were doin them and I wanted to do them too of course.

Now I can't muster up the courage to do them anymore. Never was scared shitless(but they were a little scary at first) when I did them that 1st week, they were all nice high wheelies too. But I said to myself that week and ever since, I need to ride more to get comfortable before I try these again. But since I just stopped cold turkey like that, now i can't do them at all. I know how to do them, it's no problem for me to do them, but I just can't get myself to do it. Fear of messing up my ride is foremost in my mind. Now that I am completely comfortable with my bike, how should I ease myself back into trying them again?

I normally ride alone nowadays too, so it's just me.. no gotta impress the friends factor helping my ***** out heh..

Any ideas?

dude, I'm trying to keep my bike in good shape too AND stunt it (its my only form of transportation)
go out on a road where you dont have to be looking behind your back for cars or cops.. go without a lot of gas.. and just start where you left off. if you cant get it off the ground, give it more gas.. you'll get it back up in no time.

Yeah man, its my only form of transportation too.. my Talon has a blown head gasket so it's all ive got.. the other thing is ive got minum insurance on it(im talking bottom of the barrel notta) so if something does happen, its out of pocket to fix it which sucks cause i can barely afford my bills as of now.. im soo ichin to stunt it though, right now i just tear up the twisties, i got no remorse for that heh..

thanks man, im gonna go looking for good places tomorrow while its still slightly above freezing up here in ny hehehe
