slow progress video
Here is where I'm at, looking for critque, tips, pointers anything. I got no one else that wheelies around here no less trying them slow. I haven't turned up the idle, don't know if I should or not, learn it with throttle control? Have bailed a few that I probally could have held on to, but that has helped with rear braking, making it more 2nd nature to use it. From what I see I need to obring it back further, body position ok? The oh **** feeling is become a little more oh yeah. There are 1 or 2 that felt pretty right on, let me have it, I'm a squid with a terminal wheelie obssesion. Thanks. May still be uploading.

1. be smoother on the brake..if u think ur gonna loop, juss give it a tap. u DON'T need to stomp on it like that.
2. turn up the idle to 3k.
3. relax
4. keep tire pressure at 12ish. (i wrecked my buddies zx-6r yesterday cause his tire pressure was higher than i'm used to")
5. get a better camera man.
6. change the background music.
but overall, ur lookin good man, juss keep at it..."repetition is key"...ull eventually get it.

Re: slow progress video
Thanks for the feed back, working on being softer with the brake, I'll try higher idle out, tire pressure is right on, good camera men are as common as fellow stunters around here and next vid better music, maybe not.
Re: slow progress video
u just need to relax and dont lower the air pressure that much start off at like 23 to 25 12 psi will **** up ur rims in a wobble and seriously stay with the bike dont lean back and pull ur clutch will do the work for u

Re: slow progress video
Your gettin it just ease up on the brake and focus. Your hitting the back brake although to hard but you have the reaction which is good.
Keep doin what you are doin and you will have it soon

Re: slow progress video
+1
your learning the right way...just keep practicing....and keep doing that....only turn your idle up if you know how to use the brake
Re: slow progress video
Sweet......some good advice above, BUT if you want to refine your throttle control.....don't turn your idle up, you'll become reliant on it AND if you don't have your brake control down, it could cause you to loop. I'ld wait untill you're wanting to catch idle. Straighten your left leg a bit, it helps a lot. Have you done second gear wheelies yet? If not, try 'em out....I learned second gear first until I got smooth with the throttle, then went to first. Throttle inputs are much less choppy in second. Lookin good, though......it's all about seat time(or peg time...lol..) Keep at it!
Re: slow progress video
Thanks for all the input, I'm just trying to go as slow as can with out speeding up, I guess idlle or just slow not much throttle. Went back out after posting, watching my clips and thinking and started to get more distance without speeding up too much, just keep bring it into the oh **** zone alittle more end more, what would be next step try to intentionally scrape lightly, A lot of you want to see my home ghetto bar get some abuse. Righteous 1, have and can use second, prefer 1st, if its choppy then I'm choppy and will have to work on that, this is part of the dedication you mentioned for the winter, thanks. Should I wait to order a HB, want one but do I need one?
Re: slow progress video
Wait until your foot brake is second nature.........or not, it's up to you. Lots of guys learn w/ a HB. I'm just now to the point that I feel ready for one.
Re: slow progress video
the hardest part for me was actually getting to the lot, took me over a year till i actually got out, ive been practicing like 4 times a week (2-4 hr sessions) for a month now and i learned brake control, catching idle, slowing down to make turns, one handers, and last night started catching idle on ss and i love it, that was the hardest part was getting off my *** and once i went, i couldnt stop going.. even if i crashed 3-5 times a day learning that brake... get back on... and ride that ****....
SEAT TIME my man

Re: slow progress video
I wouldnt mess around in 2nd just keep rockin 1st each time you rip it up make it better and longer than the last. Once your catching idle consistantly learn how to scrape it just tap the tail, and keep ridin. Your brake control will improve. Dont put the HB on yet focus on one thing then move on. Just remember sometimes it gets worse before it gets better.

LOOKING GOOD MAN
. I'M WHERE U ARE AT NOW. JUST KEEP PRACTICING. KEEP UR TIRE AROUND 12 PSI, IT MAKES A BIGGER FOOT PRINT FOR MORE STABILITY.
