will an 07 636 front end go right into a 03-04 636??? if not what do i have to do to make it work?

 

put a gsx-r front end on it.

fits right in. 07 rotors and forks can be put on 03-04 wheels, and triples.

thanks buddy, i got the whole front end......do you think it would be better to keep the front wheel off the 03-04, i heard the newer wheels are weaker

 

whatever you wanna do, its all interchangeable. i kept my 03-04 wheel, only cause it matched the rear.

the 07 rotors work with the 05/06 forks too?

 

yup. same rotor. just different color.

 

are the 07 forks any difference in length than the 03-04s? are they that much better than the 05-06 forks or do those not interchange with the 03-04?

 

Not sure about the 07 forks but the 05-06 forks slide right in.. if you use the whole front end it's just a simple swap Then put the 05-06 rear rim on to match. or reuse the 03-04 front rim and rotors.... or use the 03-04 front rim and bigger rotors with caliper spacers.. think there 10mm spacers... can't remeber I swapped the whole front end over..

so the 05/06 forks i just got didnt have caliper spacers ... those come stock correct? so i need to find some of those ?

 

the caliper mounts on the 05/06 forks are already 10mm longer then the 03/04. as long as you use 05+ rotors with 05+ forks your golden.

 

Dont forget you need the newer fender with the forks the 03 04 wont work.

 

I got the forks (no spacers) the rotors and the fender.

 

your good to go. you only need spacers if your trying to use 05+ rotors with 03-04 forks.
