need some help with stoppies

so now, everytime im in a rolling stoppie the rear of the bike tends to sway to the left...? i dont understand why its doing that? is it because im applying more weight to the right handlebar? (since thats where the front brake lever is) iv tried to move my body to the right but the bike still sways to the left.... so do i need to apply equal weight to both sides of the handlebars? any advice is appreciated !

When the tail wants to kick out to the left, you'll notice its very easy to turn the bars left, but very hard to turn them right. Push hard on the left clipon, real hard, hard enough to leep 400 pounds from falling to the left.

+1 when the bike is too low it is very hard to correct but when it's at or close to balance point it is very easy to correct

Re: need some help with stoppies

I have a squid question for someone wise.
Do you just grab a handfull brake and stick with it, or you pop the rear end up and then release brake a little? Just wondering what is the right way. I just grab a handfull of brake, like horny youngster grabs *****, and see whats happens

a squid myself but just grabbing brake will make the bike tuck forward and maybe go up. but grabbing brake and grabing a little harder when the forks are compressed then releasing it ever so slightly once you get to the height youre comfortable at is how i do mines.

youre just scrubbing off speed , grab the brake hard enough to get the bike to come up as soon as you let go of the throttle then modulate the brake.. grabbing a little brake to compress the suspension is a waste
