front brake

i'm learnin rolling endoes and it seems like my front brake is getting a little squishy... (i don't have steel braided lines)
and i was talkin to a guy from my work who used to race bikes...

anyway, he told me a trick he used to use, he said to take a bungee cord and wrap it as tight as i could around the front brake lever and handlebar to keep the brake clamped down hard...
he said if i leave it like that overnite and take it off in the morning my brakes will be rock hard...
he kinda explained why but i didn't really follow...lol

anybody ever heard of this? or does it sound like bs?
comments apprieciated...

Re: front brake

You could do that, or just bleed them real fast. I would use a zip tie though, much easier

Brakes are brakes, hydralics are hydralics, sometimes the best search is common sense. This is stuntlife not squid questions and answer life so deal with the flamming or use your ******* head!
