You don't need the housing, just the plastic tube.
Ohh, I see said the blind man.

That's not a bad idea. Sounds like a lot of work though..

thanks for clearin that up

no it's actually very easy. keep an eye out on ebay or for people parting out F4i's and try to pick one up cheap. They're only like $16 at the dealership though I think.

High chair with full fairing is a bugger to get into, practice on your driveway on a paddock stand to get the theory, but doing it while riding is a whole different thing

Feet and legs over fairing and mirrors if you're gonna do it FF

But don't try too much too soon, need to get bp first, then spreaders, then maybe try HC

Re: How do I get into a high chair?

Find someone knowledgable to ride with..

I found one in my area

Thehate on here lives in my city I know him pretty good.. He gives me alot of tips and pointers in keeping my bike all in one piece

and my body.. so far i havent hurt myself and I can see the difference working with tips from a good stunter that can watch you and tell you waht your doing wrong !

Good pointers iv used in the past are propper braking.. I learned quickly that my back brake will keep me from wheelin the bike back in the shop because i fucked something up..

also.. id stil be trying to do that sit down fast ****.. now im actualy on the 12 bar and bringing it up from a dead stop

Re: How do I get into a high chair?

i dont get why you guys are wasting your time giving your advice when he plainly stated hes not willing to put the time or effort in to learn the stunting game.....hes not even willing to drive 20 miles to a decent lot and you think hes gonna actually try hc's??? my bottom dollar is that hes gonna end up being content with pow pow wheelies to show of to some highschool ***** and boom theres his stunting game. this thread is a joke!!!!!

I been driving over an hour to meet up with people in my area to ride with just to find someone to help me out and give me pointers and someone to look up to and this player wont even go 20 miles.....were the **** is the determination???

if i were you id forget wheelies and jus go back to riding from starbucks to starbucks with your "damn sexy" bike

I'm not even gunna say **** you cause thats used too commonly.. and I respect your opinion.

I do not own a stunt bike.

I do not want a stunt bike.

However.. I would like to learn both fast wheelies and slow wheelies. be it, stand up, sit down, high chairs, tank spreaders, ss.... Is this not stunting? If not wtf is it?

I don't wanna take fenders off my bike, put a cage on and do circles and drop it in lots... I wanna ride wheelies out with a never dropped bike. Which i'm doing now. I will do high chairs. And I'm enjoying myself.

Gas is a lot of money for me right now, and I don't have a job... Thus, I kind of want to stay in a 20 mile radius if I'm gunna be hittin lots every day.

Is this not acceptable?

Also, if I haven't said it already, I appreciate everyone's input and advice.

Re: How do I get into a high chair?

look for your info my bike was purchased for the amount of 7000$ from a showroom floor. My bike was the black/silver tribal edition 2005 600rr with less then 2000mi on the clock when i bought it.

I realized really quickly that stunting took a commitment. And im being honest when i say if your cant make that commitment 1 of 2 things will happen

1. you will decide you like stunting in which case your bike will get droped alot while learning.
2. you will learn half *** and risk looping a high chair on the high way showing off and possibly kill yourself becuase you do not posses the skill necessary for attempting these tricks.

so as nicely as i can say this bow out now or make the commitment man!!

Honestly, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your concern, but I feel there is another way. I feel I can "half *** stunt" learn very cautiously, stay safe, and have a nice looking bike...

And I never "show off". I have a rule around these parts of town, all these cats from school tell me to wheelie, i say...

"I never wheelie when asked."

Because it adds a bit of pressure and I'm learning my way. Which means, I learn, I never fall, I progress, and keep a sick bike. Therefore, "I never wheelie when asked."

So far so good man.. I got my bike in July and can't get off the thing. every single day I see improvements in my wheelies. Just yesterday I did my first stoppie. It was very high, and I have to admit, I didn't have much idea what I was doing, but I was so cautious that I felt when it was too high, and put it down safely. This. is. how. I do.

Thanks again for your concern man, for real.

If that's true, keep it up. Really, don't get killed trying to show up some tards...

But seriously about how you'll never fail... let me just tell ya right now: if ya haven't flipped yet, you're just one day closer to it... take no offense, its just the bottom line.

When you DO get some gas money, you gotta come up here and ride with me. I mean we'll find a lot somewhere, plus I can drive my pimpin truck.

Re: How do I get into a high chair?

anthony I really wish you could understand how FALSE everything is that your saying. If you can learn to "stunt" safely lol and you never do fall EVER then you might as well tell darius, teach, colton, britton, etc.. to all step aside.

You may very well learn to eventually get some decent 2nd gear wheelies or something like that but you will NEVER learn slow wheelies without falling....

I hate to say it Ant. You are going to fall. It happens. On the other hand I would rather fall at 5mph then 50 so.....

Well I know I'm going to be no where near as good as a lot of people, in order to be safe, I'll have to sacrifice a lot of stunts..

mmm... Ok, hopefully it's not with this bike though. I'll have to get a stunt bike some day, and do my falling then.

As for now, rubber side down, as allways.

stay safe out there too guys
