-video- beginner wheelies.. yes i suck

this is the first day i've had the right idle and i have rear brake control finally..

i just need to practice... a lot.. i use the rear brake way to much and i'm not 100% comfortable yet at the balance point.. it feels good to get past the popping clutch and holding on phase haha.. i've been there for awhile

i'll be out practicing a lot this week!

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/a...99013b8554.htm

youtube was giving me errors so i had to use streetfire.. sorry

don't rev throttle 2 times, it's a bad habbit...get over the front of the bike more before you clutch it up/straighten your leg...

do you mean keep the gas constant before and after slipping the clutch?

I think he just meant on the first rev i should slip the clutch... I have a bad habit of revving it once.. Then revving it a second time and slipping the clutch...

the reason ive been trying to lean back cause i heard the bp is lower if i lean back... Lol

Why is it a bad habit to crank the throttle a couple of times before dumping the clutch? I do like it 5 or 6 sometimes.

Learn to clutch with one finger! It should make you a ton more stable/confident than clutching with 4 fingers and holding on with your thumb.

if you really are using your four fingers, try it with one finger. if you dont feel comfortable with just one finger use 2. when i first started trying to wheelie, i was using all four. i would bark the tire everytime. i decided to use to and they said the difference was like night and day in one night. i still suck but still. it helped. thats if you are doin that.

You can see it in the vid, its like the third or fourth wheelie... I forgot to mention the two finger thing, that works too. I would suggest that he get a moose or msr easypull clutch lever to make the clutch pull easier.
