cant keep the bars straight

When i pop it up in second on a stand up i tend to pull in one side of the bar more than the other. Its because only one foot is on the passenger peg and other over rear brake so i think its because i am compensating for the leverage. If i get clip ons would that help or dirt bars. Any suggestions?

I think not having clipons or DB bars on the bike might make it harder to learn! There seems to be an overload of sqids here lately!

But thats the thing, I dont want to be portrayed as a squid. Thats why i am asking questions here first to correct any bad habbits before they are stuck with me. Going to just start practicing 1st gear instead of 2cnd gear

I think you need to answer Chaos' question first. What are you using now, if you're not using db's or clip-ons? Ropes?

just learn to put your weight on the left leg.. your still chasing balance point so untill u are doing balance point wheelies, you will pull or what i like to call "rocket ship" position your self...
