as the title says..when flipping and straightening stock clip ons, has anyone found they smash the **** out of the upper when dropped? i've been considering this because the way they are right now are hard as hell on my wrists for spreaders but i don't wanna wreck my minty upper fairing

 

i have stock 636 flipped and turned out alittle on my f4i with 929 frontend and mine dont hit at all

 

My does, either they hit the fairings and if you cut em down, you hit the fairingstay. But it depends on HOW much you straighten em out.

 

Put'em on top of the upper, give ya alittle more room....
