bullshit you take a stock fi bike ride it then bring it to me to be tuned i promise when you leave it will wheelie with less effort cuause new bike are lean from the factory once you fatten them up they make more hp and torque at lower rpms also they have better throttle responce:YEAH

Ask SFZ GURU about breaking F4i frames. I feel like if you are rough on **** it will break no matter what. But it seems to be the popular concensus is that gixxer's do fold up like cardboard easier if not properly braced.

That is why smart people plate their stuff. Look at what hoops did to Britton's gixx. And look at Dixon's Yamaha's modifications and bracing...
I see all kinds of people running plated and braced sub-frames on F4i's everywhere where I'm from too. Even blown Honda F4i motors!!!

I love hondas though, and eventually I will probably get an F4i, I see so many minty ones still riding around on the streets doing the speed limit with tank and seat bags attached, dudes with full-on roadracing boots on under their jeans! LOL...Yea, so many in fact that I know there will be a good used unit for me somewhere!!

The only thing that I worry about on my 06 gixxer is the oil & the motor thing. And really that is typical and should be in the back of everyone's mind that is doing this for the long haul in my opinion....

And isn't going around saying you ride the easiest bike to stunt kind of slamming your own skills?? Just funnin ya dude!!

they way I look at this is why would someone go buy a truck to race auto x..?? becuase its just not made for that correct? i mean it would be much faster to race a porsche which is semi designed to be on a autox course!!!

ALthought f4i's where not designed for stunting they have become the best known bike to fit the calling and hold up the most to what stunting puts them through. I personally dont stunt a f4i i have a 600rr which is actually alot harder and balance poitn is MUCH higher. but i love my bike, its smooth as fawk and although the peg position sucks i like how light the bike is and the quality of the frame and motor as well....If you thrash anything hard enough its gonna brake but its just a general consensus that hondas will and have outlast other stuntbikes....636's being the only new guy on the block to give them a run for there money!!!

No doubt! That's why I'm not stuntin my Aprilia RSV Mille, I'm stunting my Suzuki GSXR. Sounds reasonable enough. Besides I have never been one to follow, I'm more of a leader.

Truthfully though, I remember kickin my leg over that 06 636 at the kawi dealership like two days before I bought that zook. It was actually what I wanted when I had my mind set on a new generation 600 stunter. Two things changed my mind...... about $1000. and that 636 was lime green!! LOL

NO really my gix was the last of the black ones, I got a deal on it, and the Honda dealership told me no more F4i's could be found the first day my wife gave me the ok to shop for my fifth bike, it was september of 06...It'll be aaaiiiight though! I'm not worried I love my bike, even if the only reason I got it was because the suzuki dealership was the only one willing to work with me!

Now, have you ever tried using a cheater peg on your 6rr?? I ride with a dude that runs one on both his F4ez and 600RR. He loves em and it looks to get rid of the crappy peg positioning. In fact I'm currently thinking of a similar set up for my gix-a-six. the peg positioning on them are super shity like your Honda too. The newer bikes seem to be more track oriented than their older siblings.

What about OMR cage??

I know that he has been known to move pegs to a more comfy position in the past check and see if he makes them for your bike yet. I'm still waiting on him to make one for my bike!! That is the one I will prolly get....

And off topic......... cinnamon toast is the ****, I just ate 5 pieces for a bed time snack!! I kept going back for more!! LOL

big difference between taking risks in adventure sports and taking UNECESSARY RISKS. hey i have an idea lets go parachuting....but instead of using a good parachut lets get an old tattered one from 1958 and just hope it holds up..it worked before im sure it will work again...and just to be safe i have a extended dissability ins. policy incase it doesnt hold up.

Thats just a stupid state of mind. I could care less about crashing I have taken spills skiing, climbing, mountain biking, and now motorcycling i dont give a ****, but one thing i do care about is using the right gear for the job and gixxers do not make good stunt bikes period!!! so good luck to you, but quit defending a bike that is no were near the same quality of a honda!

now reread what you just wrote and tell me why a few posts ago you said you dont have a hb??? you just contridicted yourself!!!
my 1st bike bought for stunting was a honda, that bike lasted 3weeks.... so when i found out that #3 main seized up i figure i`ll go with a better brand of bike.............yup still riding gixxers, remember this... the average life span of a sportbike... is 2yrs. you either trade it in.. total it ... or things come up and you dont have the time to ride!!!! so i dont care who rides what...wheather there good or not,, i`m riding regardless !!!!!

I did alot of research and talked with alot of people before attempting any trick that would require a hb. using falty equipment is alot different from choosing to learn with out a "crutch"

well looking at your pic you can already do a ss so if you had a hb you could do them for a long time and speed up and slow it down.. i was also anti hb till i rode someones bike with one, then.. it was all over !!! i broke down and got one!!!!! you will be better off, besides hc wheelies are so much safer with them!!!

I'm one step ahead of you..already got one ordered.

I'm not anti hand brake its just that in the short time i.e. 1 week i have been doing SS my throttle control has improved 10 fold!!! just the thought in the back of your head that there is no safety net really helps me to focus on smooth throttle control and awareness of the bike and entering and leaving balance point

I am gettin a hand brake b/c with todays stunting scene without a hand brake i would be limiting myself to only a select few tricks.

Dude you post like a roller coaster ride!! I can't tell if you are pissed or not sometimes! LOL

I got a hb on my gix and I have never really used it! hee hee, I just knew that by the time I was ready to, I would most likely be so broke I couldn't afford to buy one!! Everyone's different man....

Wittman rocks that 06 gix too, you gotta give much respect to someone who kills it on a bike that others find difficult, ...see the "I can't wheelie my gixxer in second gear" thread....LOL

This is the sad part. If we try to post anything in the gixxer.com forum about stunting we get flamed quicker than Kane in a gay biker bar.... Now if you have a gix and you post up about stunting it on here we get flamed alot anymore too. Don't alienate your own kind please!

If I could ever get off of my motard long enough to ride my gixxer, I'll let you know how it does(for me) as a lot bike, cuz I got the state troopers around me so worked up, I am staying off the streets for a WHILE.
Time to ditch the stock sprockets for me and use that HB....More power to ya Bob-o.... nice work.

OH yea, I really ain't worried about ****(motor) Bob,that much, to be honest. It was mainly that no one could tell me if I needed a fix for the oil starve thing or not, just cuz stuntex don't make one doesn't mean that it doesn't need one. Just that the "tamper plate" prevents design. I think it'll be OK though, I don't plan on alot of rev-limit tricks...

Im not talking anything related to skill...I mean ya he kills it for sure better then i am no doubt!!!!

all im saying is that maybe the reason your gettin flack from both sides is peeps have been down this road and gixxers just dont cut it as well as hondas

I have stunted a friends 05 gixxer 600 i believe wheelies fine good staggered peg position it was +10 felt smoooth and controlled and had a simple balance point

all im gettin at is that there not the best for stunting as far as reliability and quality

and FYI rev limiter doesnt have anything to do with wwhat wwere talking about in relation to oil starvatoin idk if you know that or not!!

the differnt pickup will allow your bike to wheelie for a greater distance without starving parts of the motor from oil and causing friction to build up and in the end blowing your motor while wheeling!! just my

see, I can't tell if your'e mad now or not!!!
LMAO
So after your 600' one wheeled approach to your 500' coaster drains all the oil out of your motor, and you pull in the clutch and grab the rev limiter for style points, that's not going to blow an oil starved motor quicker than if you just coasted along?? I don't think running out of gear and hitting a rev-limit on a wheelie has been written about as being good on the motor either. I don't plan on doing much of either....****, I know dudes rockin F4i's that stay away from the rev'limit coasters cuz they don't have $ for a dozen motors either. I think it has everything to do with having an oil starved stuntbike....
How about this, if you are wheelieing and hitting the rev-limiter anytime, with no modified pick up, NOT GOOD! That's what I meant, and that's my
