Does Heavier equal Harder ?

I was wondering what some peoples opinions were on this....

I'm learning slow wheelies ...and I have 2 f4i's Im using....One street and one lot only..... I tried to build these bikes as close to each other as possible.... so **** would feel the same from one to the next....

Full faired.... stock clipons.....geared the same -1 +8 stock engines with stock pipe.......... well.... my Lot bike ended up being about 60 lbs lighter ! It has no instruments...no turn signals or brakelight...No mirrors....and the cage is like an FI which is way lighter than the powers on the Streetbike...also the 12 bar is an off brand and way lighter that the powers 12 bar on the streetbike. And the Pipe on the lot bike has 4 inches cut off the canister (and tip welded back on) BUt the streetbike has a stock Can with shortened midpipe (heavier setup )

Anyways.... The Streetbike is way harder to rock....the slow wheelies are wobblier right to left...and they dont last as long before I have to chase them or set them down... It's not just me....my more experienced friend is having the exact same issues on these two bikes.

Do you think I will learn faster if I just rock the heavy one ? or keep switchin back and forth ....and only feel like I had progression on the days i ride the light bike ? (cause the slow wheelies last so much longer and are steadier )

Are lightweight Streetfightered Bikes even Easier to rock ?

opinions are welcomed....... thanks guys

put the powers cage on the stuntbike. and wobbly is caused by you. not the bike.

check tire pressure too, if they arent the same you may notice wobble, low for slow speeds

Re: Does Heavier equal Harder ?

thanks guys.... I made a small change today that helped a little.... I changed the pipe on the heavy bike (It was a stock can with a shortened midpipe....HEAVY ) I put an old jardine I had on it.... helped in two ways....I feel less weight...AND ...It definately gave the bike some extra punch. I'll keep it this way for awhile.... I got so much practice i need to do....I need to just wear out some tires and brakes ****...and practice my *** off.

Re: Does Heavier equal Harder ?

your telling me you can Feel the weight difference of just changing the pipe. that pipe probably only changed the weight by a few pounds. I take ***** that weigh a few pounds and still ride the same.
