Bad clutch crapping out my wheelies?
Bad clutch crapping out my wheelies?
Hey,
I've been practicing clutching a lot lately. In order for me to get it up even half way to BP i have to rev and drop at like 10k rpm. Is that normal? I was wondering if my clutch was slipping and causing this problem... In the past I've clutched at much lower rpm and got all the way to the BP... nearly shitting myself naturally not expecting it.
I cracked the clutch case a while back and it looked OK just getting worn but still had rubber. I have some tranny problems with my shift forks but I don't think that would be an issue since I am still in first the whole time.
Also, if anyone has any insight into learning staning up. I was told that was the way to go. Like how to stand where to brace at because I feel uncomfortable and move a lot when I take off.
Gearing is -1 f +2 rear

try just accelerating hard (in all gears), and if in some point revs jump but speed doesn't incrase proportional to it, then your clutch slips...if it happens, with time it will happen on less and less rpm until you won't even be able to ride it...
