any one do slow stuff on a 1000???
any one do slow stuff on a 1000???
I usually see the threads about 1000's killin the freeways... just wondering if people with the liter bikes do any slow stuff... I know all it takes is using the rear brake to slow it down, just wondering how slow people get without having any problems... and what gearing they have on their bikes... I would assume also that they do the slow stuff in 1st gear also but I also know about how touchy the throttle can be in first...
thanks in advance...

Re: any one do slow stuff on a 1000???
I've did slow stuff on a Busa! I used to kill no handers on my totally stock 04 1000rr going about 10 mph! It dosent matter what bike u ride as long as its got a brake. Peace
Re: any one do slow stuff on a 1000???
I learned last year on my 02 954. All stock, no cage/sliders/gearing or anything. I could go about 7mph before it would die and put dents all over the tank from my knees hitting it. Before I tried slow stuff on it that bike was mint
Now I ride a stunt 636. I improved 1000 times since then, alot because of the bike.

Yep, i got the F4i plus AUS$2000 at a dealership. I could have got more if i sold it privately but i HATE all those ******* time-wasting ***** that kick tyres and bitch about the asking price. I was asking $11,900 which is the cheapest one on the market atm and some dick came along saying he wanted $1400 off the price just because:
1)i'd cut my levers short deliberately so they didnt snap the whole thing
2)I'd had to shave a little bit off the underside of my seat to allow the subframe bracing to fit (you have to look hard to see the seat mod)
3)He didnt like the fender elim. He actually wanted the stock fender back on!!
I said that for all that crap i can "fix" it up for him for under $200. He said no. I told him to **** off.
