questions about basic stunts

1) riding out a wheelie-i can pop a wheelie but dont know how to ride it out. what are the techniques?
2)basic burnout-is it just a matter of standing up,leaning forward, and keeping the front brake locked up while twisting the throttle?
3)stoppies-im gonna assume the right way to learn is via stoppie then on to rolling endo. that said...hows it done? ive tried sqeezing the front brake as i come to a stop and the suspension compresses. how can i know when to apply more brake and all the other things involved?
thanks in advance!

Re: questions about basic stunts

no body can really tell you how to stunt..my best advice is getting out and trying it for yourself..

The first 2 are just practice and so are stoppies

BUT

- when you are coming to a stop and feel the suspension compress lift your *** off the seat a little and transfer all your weight forward. do this all in one motion.

1 - front brake (start slowing down with the front brake.)

2 - as the suspension is compressing lift your *** and throw your weight foraward

- start out just lifting your *** just a little and leaning forward, as you get better you will know what to do from there.

Like the others have said - you cant learn this **** from a computer - you can get advice on technique once you can do the basic ****, but in the end its all practice.

o and props for putting this in the propper forum.

Re: questions about basic stunts

thanks for tips. i am aware no one can teach me these things via internet. but i can get some advice, tips and techniques-no?
about stoppies...i keep hearing that it is about feel. if i just keep practicing what i was advised to do on this thread, then should i be able to eventualy(if i put in the time and practice) get the feel of when to grab the front brake a little harder and lean forward more? am i even on the right track here? i havent talked to anyone whos done a stoppie or ever seen it in person, so its hard to know how to try it without crashing.
basically, im wondering if theres a point-after youve squeezed front brake and leaned forward-where you can feel what you NEED to do? is more feel then tech?

You just need to practice throttle control. I am practicing but I am having a hell of a time because my bike comes up so fast I panic and think its going to keep going so I release the throttle and down it goes.... Practice will get you to where you will know when and how to roll the throttle, nothing but practice can take care of that problem.

Read the stickies at the top, great info...

video yourself....you will realize you are no where near where you think you are....gotta practice everyday if you wanna get it....a practice here and their wont do ****......im sure your bike is fresh....so rethink the whole stunting idea if you wanna keep it that way its going to get expensive!
