Re: Galfner wave rotors

I have had them on a gixxer 1k and they are the *****.....do lines and pads too. They were better on my 01 than the 06 stock by far. Rear isn't as noticeble but it may be too grabby for some I like responsive and tight break so poss the stocker could be better (more Cush) but endos will improve and they rip it right up and I suck at them so its a whole new curve.

Any new rotor is going to be grabby due to the textures from manufacturing, they will wear in and not be so grabby, yes rotors have to break in too.

I've wanted to get a set of front and rear forever but they're so expensive

Yes......but worth it. For my gixxer it was about a G for the rotors HHpads and lines. I scoped up a 97 gsxr750 for 500 bucks sold it a coupple of days later and put the 500 back in my pocket and rolled the G into Waves....

and BTW its Galfer not Galfner

Re: Galfner wave rotors

you can use 2005/06 636 petal (wave kinda style) on your 03/04 wheels. u just have to space your front calipers 10mm cause they are 10mm larger diameter.
