2006 CBR 600 RR Wheelies
I have two problems the first one is sit down wheelies. I heard that I could keep my CBR 600 RR in first gear for miles if I just hold the throttle steady at the balance point. But when I wheelie sitting down in first gear after a while first gear runs out. Then I switch into second gear in bring it back at 12'o clock. In ride the back brake but when I start to fill it coming down it's like the bike lose power.
Then when I wheelie standing up in first gear it runs out in I be pretty high in the air. Holding the throttle steady in one spot I be so high that I can see my front fender. In then when I try to switch standing up sometimes my bike won't let me. Or when I do switch to second I lose power in the bike comes down.

So when I bring my bike higher, I should let off the gas a little bit in keep my throttle study or let off the gas ride the back brake in blimp it when I fell it coming down.

Take all of your fairings off, including speedo, throw a monster sprocket on it, take your pressure down to 10 psi on your rear tire, put a cage on the bike, put a 12 bar on it.....put every piece of gear you have on.....NOW find an industrial park, go with a friend, trailer your bike there, and have fun. Start with a staggard stand up...
I guess what Im sayin is, TRIAL AND ERROR, you gotta drop it, you just do, and if you do everything I said, your confidence should go up, because mentally you know everything should be ok Ie: bike/you..

Just keep practicing and you'll get it after awhile. If your running out of gear and your motor is still reving up that means either one of two things. Either 1) your not at balance point so your motor is chasing to keep it at that height. or 2) Your at balance point...then dipping....chasing back up to bp...dipping...chasing back up to bp...dipping...
Number two used to be my problem before I'd get it up to bp and hold it for a while. But then accidently dip it back a lil when I hit a bump and that would cause me to let off the gas to much and then I'd have to chase it a lil back up. It wouldn't dip to far below bp but enough to pick up speed just a little.
99% of the time when you THINK your at bp your far from it. Couple of my friends used to tell me all the time "HO I HIT BALANCE POINT!" "I'm LEARNING TO BRING IT PAST BP WITH REAR BRAKE" when I seen them wheelie later on they had about another foot to go till bp.

Yo I was out the other day doing some practice. I just said "**** it" I picked it up in 1st gear wheelied for a couple car. Then shift it into 2nd gear in gave it a little more gas. I was behind the Balance Point the bike felt weight less. When I was at that point all I did was keep the gas steady in tap the back brake.
But 1st gear is really sensitive so when I go behind the Balance point. I shouldn't need no gas at all only the rear brake.
:YEAH
