Got a 04 cbr600rr. slammed it 3 inches and adjusted the forks. only mod i've put is the k&n air filter. been tryin the whole stuntin thing. i heard better sprockets was the way to go. any suggestions?

 

my only sugestion is not not *** up your nice bike...

get a beater stuntbike, read up on here, go to town!

 

Well if you are going to be stunting a minty bike like that (or any bike for that matter) a crash cage would be greatly recommended. Also if your going to be practicing any type of endo's, ive noticed braided lines have helped

 

un slamm it first thing you need to do!!

 

get a cage and wear a helmet.

lowered bikes look like ***... and the number one thing n00bs worry about is; can I keep the bike from falling over when I stop.. that's their nuber one worry, that's why so many n00bs lower their bikes. They couldn't give a **** less if it doesn't turn as good or scrapes every damn bump in the road or will never wheelie, all they care about is, how good can I get my feet on the ground you don't have to put your feet on the ground except when you stop, and who cares if you drop it at 0mph. There are plenty of short guys stunting full height bikes, look at nags and old man roger. There's even girls shorter than you riding full height bikes so your just being silly.

Stock gearing is best for learning throttle control and bp, more gearing will only make it more twitchy. Raise the bike back up to stock height, and get a cage. Don't worry so much about dropping the bike.

 

just a thought, but unless you are loaded with cash, save up some cash and get a beater to stunt. I was having a really hard time learning on my minty 636, becuase I was afraid of breaking parts or scratching it. After that I got an f4i that was already in not soo good shape. I wasnt worried about anything except blowing a motor. Made me feel more comfortable, and so you learn quicker...thats just my opinion though...

I went thru TWO minty bikes before i learned my lesson...


If you are serious about learning to stunt ride, get a beater stunter, cage it, read up on here, and have at it!
