wheelies for a squid??
wheelies for a squid??
unfortunately prendi didnt stop by for pix but i didnt do much anyways.
meanwhile, i was going for alittle learning since the weather is decent and i decided id try a power wheelie (becuz it seems easier
) and managed to get the front end up for only 2 seconds gaining speed in 2nd
but i dont think it went any higher than two feet or so. any advice on attempting it better/higher without tipping/looping???
only reason i didnt over do it was becuz i have yet put the cage on (as shown below)
ill try to get pix when i can on progress

yeh im asking a few Q's right now, thanx Re: wheelies for a squid??
got the tools deffinately but isnt the front bolts the engine mount? i just need alittle instructions on how to install it is all, but nevertheless im practicing, just not to the extreme that i wud if i had the cage put on
Re: wheelies for a squid??
thats not a power wheelie. n that was the second time ive ever tried doin nething in a lot. ive actually been gettin a lot better. im still learnin the brake though. hopefully i can get some new pictures soon. we just havent been in the lot at all. every1 has been in a street phase lately Re: wheelies for a squid??
I'd try clutching them in 5 or 6 gear. Not as touchy as 1-2-3 or 4 gear. As you learn more throttle control, you can drop a gear. I started with 6 and each month drop a gear. just started using 3 gear and it rocks !! I've slowed them down a lot. (Down to about 110 mph at the end of my wheelies, still no balance point) I figure i should be down to practicing 1st gear by the end of the year. Good luck!!!!!!
Re: wheelies for a squid??
why is it funny? We get madddddd respect round here and bragging rights for pushing wheelies in the mid 100 mph range. We call ourselves the "The Steel Nads Power Posse" and our motto is "If you can't out run em on one wheel, Grow some nuts!!!!"
Re: wheelies for a squid??
I'll post some pics of our logo, each one of us has it tatooed right on our nut sack!!!!!! For initiation, we make you perform a trick we call the "nut hanger" it involves the squid doing a 150 mph wheelie with their fly open and ***** flapping in the wind. It is one tight *** trick. Oh yeah we have patented it and tried to get some pro riders to use the "nut hanger" at XDL but no one seemed to be interested. Talk about sickest trick!!!!!
