help for a newbie!!!

i was just wondering if anyone can suggest if there is anything i need to do before i start stunting?? im a newbie so i wanna try and do whatever mods or whatever gear i need out of the way now..like if i should get new gears or any kind of bady armor? or any of that stuff anything u guys can help me with would be great thanks.

get a cage...ive got a 905 but most ppl here will tell you to get a sickinnovations(.com)

i would do the fiddy part but its seems like they are just way too small for me im not a small dude lol...ive been ok on quads so i just need to kind bring it over to the bike...is there anything i should be setting up before i start like idle or any kidn of gear u guys could suggest?? and what about gearing?? people have told me i should do 1 down, 5 up, i just dont know if i should get the gearing first or learn with stock gears?????? i have an 06 636 if thats any help as well

1..cage.cage cage......
2..protection..(icon body armor)..or something sim..
3..patience....learn throttle control and foot brake...it cant be stressed enuff
4..start small...trying to hard to fast either gets you really hurt or your bike smashed(unrideable for awhile)..
5..have fun....video tape yer self so you can see your progress and also for to see what yer doing right and wrong....plus if ya go down atleast its on film:YEAH
