Re: scraping.............

I guess my question is how many of you guys learned with a bar or the stock tail. I've heard good things about both.

Re: scraping.............

it doesn't really matter what you learn on just take it slow, dont just throttle it all the way back and **** yourself up, use the clutch and ease onto the tail with the brake controling you ........ learn coasters

Re: scraping.............

i learned by clutching it up at about 2 mph and catching it with the brake. once i was high engough just slowly played with the brake and throttle until i could gently set it on the bar. i learned the first day i tried. it helped me alittle bit to turn up the idel so when i got it that high i just let off the brake and the idel pulled me back to the bar.

Re: scraping.............

i learnt by getting it to balance point going slow, waited until it was perfectly certered from left to right and lightly blip the throttle to tap the bar. Just to get comfortable. Now i use the clutch and can tap at will. I also used the throttle at first instead of clutch because i really beefed up my 12 bar/ subframe so i wasn't afraid of braking ****.
