How did you get to the balance point???
Re: How did you get to the balance point???
took me prettymuch all summer.
i started out with the power wheelies and both feet on the pegs, and would ride em out for 6 seconds, then started doing em staggered and finding the sweet spot where the bike just floats down the freeway and then even started coming behind bp and rolling off the throttle slowing the bike down. now i totally rely on my rear brake for everything and cant do a balance point freeway wheelie for jack **** on any type of bike unless i practice for like 8 fukin hours.

once i wanted to hit b.p w/ idle I did it that day but the first dead stop clutch trys just gorilla scraped. The sprocket was 73 and still is , but to get it down to where i could just clutch it right to idle w/out brake just slippin perfect right up to BP like 8 times out of ten took a bit longer and Is still is something I practice ..

Re: How did you get to the balance point???
At that speed you are definitely close to BP because at high speed it's lower. It's probably harder to balance at that speed because there is a lot of wind. So maybe you'll take a while to learn. My advice is ride with the rear brake on a bit and keep ur foot on it until you feel it. Your definitely at the point where you need to learn the brake. Maybe it will bring you slower and balance more.

Re: How did you get to the balance point???
Thats exactly what i´m trying to do know. I ´m trying to slow down the wheelie with the rear brake and I´m progressing very fast. I think the closest time when I got the balance point is with my sit down wheelie because when I do stand ups I can´t find it but I can control the bike better that sit
Take off your passenger seat and put your left foot into it. I wouldn't try this faster than 40 mph though. Try to clutch it up at slower speed. Your going too fast. Always keep your foot on the back brake and your fine.
