cluthing wheelies
cluthing wheelies
Ive been practicing slow wheelies on stock gears 03 r6 ideal a 3k and 10 psi in the rear I'm having trouble cluthing it up consistantly should I ride the clutch out ? when I dump it it wheelies up so fast I'm on the rear brake to keep from looping cant seem to lift the bike up with control
Re: cluthing wheelies
I pull the clutch in just enough till it completly disengages with two fingers then I give the the trottle a quick solid rev and release the clutch and ease back on the throttle
Re: cluthing wheelies
if u're tryin to do slow/idle wheelies, turn your idle to 3500, do staggered stand up, roll to as close to a complete stop as u can, rev and drop clutch, make sure u drop the clutch while u're still on the throttle, as it hit about 45*'s, let off the gas, and let it come up till the forks are level with the ground, and that point, lightly massage the brake, do keep you in that area. if u gain speed, u're too low, if it stalls, or slows too much, u're too far back.
Re: cluthing wheelies
Do you start the wheelie at idle speed cause I idle at 7mph, also Ive had the bike to where the forks are level but cant stay there I hit the brake and come down I think I'm hittin the brake too hard but I don't want to loop scaped the tail once and came back down but can't ride the slow wheelie jast can't seem to stay aty the BP hard to find and way farhter back then the fast stuff
Re: cluthing wheelies
only use one finger on the clutch lever.
Also, dump the clutch; but use baby steps. When you're just learning, don't rev it up so high that the front end will jump up past the balance point and scare the **** out of you.

Re: cluthing wheelies
BP when I dide fast wheelies I can find it I just float don't have to use the throttle or the brake it just there but when I'm goin slow I can't find that sweet spot I'm constantly correcting with the throtle and the brake
