Re: Rollin burnouts

i just start rolling so i already have balance (standing up), then dump the clutch while barely on the front brake. i give more brake to control the speed once it is spinning. on my dirtbike it is a little harder, i have to lean forward putting all of my weight on my hands and even then sometimes i cant hold the bike down.

Ya, the weigth distribution is the most important thing, I start to put some weigth in my footpeg and control the troggle and the brake and starts to roll It was hard but It took me a month keep practicing.

Re: Rollin burnouts

the only reason your clutch burned is because you either didnt have any play on it, or you were on the clutch while doing the burnout...

def got the clutch half in while doing a burnout.....make sure you let the clutch out all the way or you be replacing clutches left and right until you stop

Wait a minute....thats sounds backwards. So its better to hold the clutch in half way while doing a burnout? I thought holding it in is what burns it out, and I thought it was better to let the clutch out all the way?

I thought when u counter steer u turn the same way the bike is going? Like if the rear end is coming around the left, u turn to the left....If u turn to the right, won't it spin it around faster?

Counter steer from the direction of the circle.. if you circle clockwise the backend will come out to the left.. you will also turn the bars to the left to straighten it out, but it's a right circle.... hence countersteering
