first. the bars. is it still poss to run a scotts dampner with a dirtbike bar set up on a 929? also say i want to turn out my clip-ons for more of a dirtbike bar stance. but dont want the lift that dirt bars give you. better to go with the 0 deg. clip-ons from FI? or is there a way to rock out the stock ones?

second. opinion on cages? powers sick inovations or scrape works. i got the FI cage on my f4i but thats all low speed parking lot ****. i want something beefy that will take higher speed lay outs. and the FI got mangled in the last one over 20 mph.

Spiegler high rise clipons swapped side to side. Go with sick innovations. FI's concentracte all the forec to one spot, fine for a really stong frame like a F4i at low speeds but it may cause the bike to catch and flip instead of slide at high speeds. SI makes rails if you don't want a full cage as well.

 

what are you saying by flip and switch and side to side?

 

flip them upside down and switch sides so you get more leverage.

 

Dumped my 929 from 12 with FI cage and it cracked my stator cover. I heard the sickinovations cages are supposed to be better. Just my 2cents.
