ran into troubles with dirt bike bars set up

This is on a 04 gixxer 600, So i got the top triple set up with risers and protapers, it all fits reaaaal nice, but my cables don't seem like they are gonna make it.

I'm definetly gonna go with braided brake lines for the front, got that under control.

Throttle cables might might might make it but it's gonna be tight, I gotta take a lil closer look at re routing them to get some more lenght outta them.

clutch cable i'm pretty sure isn't gonna be long enough.

So, what are some different cables that will work for the clutch and possibly the throttle????

I've got a spair set of 426f (dirt bike) throttle cables that may work

thanks for the help guys

how tall is the bend on the mx bars....cause if you have a pastrana or henry bend no way its gonna work....also if you do get them to reach make sure to turn the bars both ways with the bike running you dont want to get it up on one and turn the bars and have the thing wind up to redline instantly....ok by now...good luck

Re: ran into troubles with dirt bike bars set up

they are the CR high bends, and yea i'll definetly make sure they have some free play when turned side to side, been there done that before on a mx bike or two lol

I was just looking at my set up and I think by just re routing the cables I should be fine, we'll see how it goes when i get some free time.

thanks guys
