hard to get it up in 2nd?

I have an 03 Gsxr 600, and I can get it up in second, but I have to bounce and clutch the hell out of it at 8g, should I get it sprocketed 2 up in the back and 1 in the front or just 1 down in the front? Any suggestions would be appreciated

gear always helps but you should be able to get it up anyway you might wanna just learn how to do it with stock gear first

I did the -1 front +2 rear thing on my 06 gxxr 600. Its alot easier but i feel like i cheated for the lack of wanting to practice...you know the whole "cheaters never prosper " thing...

I went and practiced but I fuken looped my bike this past friday, I tried to stretch out my distance and i looped it back, oh well... I came out of it basically with out a scratch, so as soon as i get my bike fixed I'll be at it again. Oh yea? does anyone know a good website to order fabrics to cover the plastics on bikes?

Re: hard to get it up in 2nd?

-1 +2 is very useful, but try 5K and the clutch to 9K or 10K, give a little bounce and inmidiatly put your butt at the end of the seat and it ´ll come uo in second it soud dificult but is much easier than you thing
