Question on slowin down wheelies...
1st thing first...flame if u like, i dont give a ****. I spend alot of time at the spot by myself wit no one to ask so..yea be cool.
Anyway, I'm tryin to learn to slow my wheelies down and my main question is...is it best to dump it and stay on str8 throttle and then just try to control i with the brake(tryin to do sitdowns) or to actually try to do some throttle input when it gets back to BP(not really good at ridin BP yet i get there alot and i know becuz its the "OH **** IM GONNA LOOP" sensation but i cant ever keep it there)
oh yea...this is on a f4i stock gears, - 12 bar, + cage

Re: Question on slowin down wheelies...
clutch it up kinda hard and i generally use very little throttle and very little brake. once it's balanced you shouldn't need much. i try to use just 1 thing, for me mostly the brake. if you start moving both then you move too much and over-correct.
if you use the throttle, make sure it's small inputs and don't change the ammount of brake you are using, keep that constant, then move the throttle a little. that biek will go quite a ways past the "oh ****" spot before it'll flip backwards. you have engine brake and a rear brake so just remember to use it if it goes too far. never panic, if it feels too far, it's probably just perfect.

Re: Question on slowin down wheelies...
don't do sitdowns.. stand up staggered, 18 psi.. idle at 3500-4k.. clutch up from a dead stop, when the bikes about 60* up, let off the gas... and it'll come back a little more, and then u just feather the brake, u want to keep the forks parallel w the ground.. just keep practicing

Well went out last night, was doin pretty nice. Playin with BP and could only really stay up on the slow wheelie for like 1-2 seconds or accelerate it. One of the guys I was ridin with was sayin i shouldnt try to do slow **** on stock gears cuz its 'hard'...but we'll see.
and there is alot of stuntas in FLA but mostly in central/south florida i live in the panhandle.

your guy tha tu ride with is a fvckin idiot.. tell him to go play in traffic, ppl think gearing, and bars, n cages and hb's are some fvckin miracle cure to make everything easy, u're not going to learn any faster w that ****.. **** it up and dip it farther back
