what does idle do?
Re: what does idle do?
if you turn it up and slow the bike down to below where the idle is set at, the bike makes power with no throttle input, so you can take your hand off. It also makes the bike produce less engine braking when you close the throttle which is good for smoothing out circles but bad for trying to recover from wheelies gone too far back if you don't have a handbrake or rear brake skills.
