Re: tips on throttle control

practice.

you can bump your idle up a little but if you're in 2nd and 3rd you shouldn't need to do anything.

and practice. it comes with time.

Re: tips on throttle control

my 929's real choppy, wheelies in first are pretty difficult especially near bp. I'll get it up there then when I go to let off a bit it chops the throttle off and comes down too quick. that's why I do most of my wheelies in second. as far as riding them further you've just gotta get the frontend up there farther. the bp on a bike like ours is way higher than a dirtbike or quad. would a power commander help to smooth out the touchiness of the throttle?

Re: tips on throttle control

try to keep some focus on your forks ,after you clutch it up ,when you see that your forks are level youl know your at the B.P,from there have the rear brake covered in case you go past it. But the throttle should be more smooth/constant , good luck..

Re: tips on throttle control

with 929, you need to stop the throttle control, clutch it up with minimal throttle, then just keep the throttle as solid as possible and use the rear brake, if you try to balance it with throttle, you are ****ed.
