Re: One quart over

i have a 2005 gsxr 600 with a stuntex pickup i run 4 qrts instead of the factory 3.3 because with 3.3 qrts my oil light would come on when rollin long endos running 4 qrts solved the problem the suzuki mechanic said it would be alright and before i put the stuntex in i took it to the suzuki mechanic and he said put it in and he will still honor my factory 5 year warranty

i've heard overfilling the oil a little bit is okay as long as you stay away from high rpms

Re: One quart over

I run roughly a quart over on my 06 zx6r. No problems yet... A little off topic, but is it true that running full synth causes clutch slippage? was thining about switchin over, but not gonna if thats the case.

Re: One quart over

i run a quart over w/o pickup tube, and run full synthetic on 04 750, have 17000 miles and yet to replace the clutch or have any motor problems, plus i rund high rpms, just not for an extended time, if i get to 12000rpm, i set it down, but usually just kick it back and slow it down, so no problems here............
